Scam & Phishing 2025 — GenDigital (Norton)

The GenDigital suite offered protection during each tested scenario while keeping a 100% legitimate accuracy when handling the same legitimate banking portals we maliciously hosted during the phishing part of the testing.

The suite relied on Norton Safe Browser’s built-in features for securing users against malicious links, which may put some users off — as ever, each user makes a decision between usability and protection. It is a Chromium-based browser, which makes it easier to digest.

As AI assistants go, it was the most user-friendly approach. When in doubt it would prefer to ask for more context about the submission. While that can mean a slower response, it is repaid in the accuracy of responses.
